Somewhere I have a casting, of unknown parentage. But no question it is body & slide cover for such a shaping head, though proportions tell me of a bigger spindle, if not mill. It'll be a 50NMTB, to capitalize on rigidity. They may had been prevalent, very rarely seen now. Being relatively compact, causes speculation on adapting it to run horizontally; not exactly sure why beside knocking corners into recesses positioned that way. Not all parts can be laid down.
