I just got this little one delivered
It is a gutted Aciera F1 NC
All controls and motors are missing Thats not too bad as these would have been hopelesly outdated
No accessories beside the hor arbor support and the motor with spindle
The ball screws are there But measuring several 0.01mm of play If that is the spindle or the bearing I do not know yet
And like always I would like to give it a good home for some profit
What would be a decent price for this???

I wish I had spare cash.
I would pay 5-10k, and spend about the same to make an excellent top end micro-mill cnc, worth about 50-80k.
The screw end support bearings, spindle bearings, would either make this viable or not.
Bearings x 3 axes, spindle bearings, == 10k.
Screws, add 4-6-8 k€.

If I had a client waiting I would quote 80k with a possible -15k rider.
And 4 months timeframe.

I don't think this would make a very "top end" CNC; the ways are still dovetail I imagine? Even with a ball screw on the Z the interface for the motor is a set of bevel gears so there is inevitably play there. Spindle tops out around 4K rpm and these use roller bearings, again play is an issue and what a bear to adjust.
