Advice wanted for an apprentice beginning his tool collection

Get your name on the tools that are yours asap. I also had a sticker on my box that said something like “ I make my living with Snap-On tools, please don’t ask to borrow them “.

That didn’t apply to everybody, just the guys who you knew were slow at returning borrowed items.

Regards Tyrone

I’m still waiting for the sob to pay up that borrowed my first good quality tool 25 years ago, dropped it and swore he’d replace it until he saw how expensive it was.

Young guys should write a note to themselves that says,”Nobody gives a shit about tools they borrow.”

Now I ask for someone’s drivers license if they borrow anything.

Knowing that bucking the boss is an excellent way to be last for raises.

Everybody has jerks and dumb bosses over time and remember that what you say gets back to that boss...and what you do is remembered.
*You are working for the company and the paycheck
