I found it sitting outside a local machine shop while making deliveries this week. I needed a couple parts for one of my other Pacemakers, but after getting it back to the shop and giving it a quick inspection I have decided it deserves a second chance to earn its keep.

Previous owner said the cross slide wear was the reason for removal, so I'll be re scraping that in.

I took a peak under the hood and it appears clean, a real surprise considering it was outside for eat least 7 years.

After a good restoration I'll post a few more pictures.

No hard ways, my other two Pacemakers do have hard ways, 1952 & 1956 models.

Yep Maytag plate. Lots of bronze chips tucked into far away places.

Thanks for posting the information Johnoder!
