What is the best practice for keeping track of tool offsets when swinging the B head from main chuck to
Sub and or doing Od work ?
For example, Let's say I have a 1/4 drill that I'm using to drill the face of a part on the main sp. then swing the head to 90 and drill a side hole on the od. then swing 180 and drill the face and side on
the Sub.
What I'm doing now is using different offsets for ea face/side, For exp. face main T6, side T66, Sub T660 etc. the machine has 999 offsets so plenty off room to roam, It just gets kind of confusing..
Is there a better way ?
I program this thing by hand..lol
