I have a 2015 speedio x1000.
Made a big mistake and the backup battery ( 3 AA's) did not get changed in time.

I did the recovery procedure, we were able to get the Z axis and Y axis right back to where it was before.

The problem is with the X axis, it is now off by -.6293

Touching off parts again I can now run machine, but cannot use the toolsetter as it is off by -.6293

Can anyone help me get the X axis back to where it needs to be?

Thanks a bunch for any help!!! Joe

Glad you got it Joe. Just saw this. I recommend changing the AA batteries Jan 1st, every year. Did you try Yamazen tech support at 800-882-8558, menu choice 5? Also, when you change the batteries, do it while the machine is powered up and ready to run parts.

Joe, did your batteries last 7 years or had you changed them before? I now have one so this is more than idle curiosity.

Change them every year. It is not worth the hassle. They are inexpensive AA batteries and easy to change. They may go two years but don't push it. They go quicker when rotary tables and pallet changer are involved. More axes, more draw on the batteries.
