A email announcing the auction of a rebuilt Mesta 64 inch wide four high reversing rolling mill arrived today.

The mill was rebuilt for the Howmet titanium plant in Ohio. Howmet seems to have had a change in plans and has abandoned the project.

The rolling mill was rebuilt by the Italian company Danieli at a Virginia facility.

Looked at that rebuilt Mesta....Man, can't imagine the money they have tied up in that.
