Deckel up for auction

I find it interesting that there seem to be so many more CNC Deckels and Mahos in the USA than manual machines, esp. similar sized manual machines. In other words, there are alot of FP1's around but relatively few FP2's and 3's. There seems to be a fair number of manual FP4's around however. And yet it's the FP3 size that is by far the most common in CNC mode (keeping in mind the confusing fact, that a CNC FP4 is actually the same body as an FP3 in CNC form, but are very different body from a true manual FP4....clear as mud ?)

All I can figure is by the time the CNC machines were offered, their high prices could be justified at some shops by the Deckel's unique capabilities and accuracies, but the comparatively high prices of the manual machines just could not be justifed and hence very few were sold.
