We use a rotary truing device for our CBN wheels and leave them mounted, but also use a dressing stick to kind of remove a glaze or open up the grain after use. Last time I got one (dressing stick) was probably 15 years ago. It was about 1" square and maybe 4" long, white, and almost feels like an aluminumIMG_20231129_152122232_HDR.jpg oxide grinding wheel. Any help on where to get such a thing? All I have left is a nub.

Found it, not as much of a mystery as I thought.https://www.sharpeningsupplies.com/Cleaning-Stick-for-Diamond-or-CBN-Wheels-P802.aspx?utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Sharpening%20-%20Shopping%20New&utm_term=4580221844432676&utm_content=Ad%20group%20%231

I use these automated in a CNC tool grinder, aka "white sticking".
