We've been having alot of difficulty sourcing 7075 Al angles lately. Fairly standard extrusions, but in smallish quantities. Certianly not full mill runs or anything. Our regular suppliers say they can't get alot of the sizes we need any more. Does anyone know of a good supplier for this sort of thing?

Is this something you can get a material substitution for? You might check to see if they have it in 7050. 7075 has been steadily phased out in favor of 7050 over the last 20 years for a bunch of aerospace applications. That might be affecting your availability.

That is our last resort. It's a controlled drawing though so the engineering would need to be redone and it would need to be re-analyzed since 7050 isn't as strong as 7075. We've only got a couple parts to do though so it would be much easier if we could just find someone with some in stock.

They may not have the best price, but McMaster seems to have 7075 angle from 1/2" up to 2 1/2" and 1/16" and 1/8" thicknesses.

If your parts are short enough perhaps they could be wire edm cut. I did that for a extrusion prototype, I remember the one little length cost more than an extrusion die.
