FANUC 21i-T Drip feed: RS232, PCMCIA

Hello!

There is a Colchester Tornado 220 lathe with FANUC 21i-T Control. By valuable info across this forum (Specially @angelw), I could transfer files between PC and the control via both of RS232 protocol and PCMCIA (Of course by changing I/O channel)

My problem is I can't drip feed programs directly from PC software or PCMCIA. I have to transfer files to the control memory first before running them. And due to low capacity of the memory I'm having serious issues.

I don't have DNC/Remote/Tape selector/ mode on the panel. I don't know if specific parameters should be changed or...

Appreciated for any clue in advance.

Thanks @sinha. I had read it before, and like that topic, I don't have any selector/switch/mode for DNC/Remote/Tape...

Maybe my little knowledge, maybe impossibility by Fanuc model. Completely lost...

Some MOP functions are available on software operator's panel also, if so designed by the MTB.
The procedure to access the software switches is as follows:
  • Press the OFS/SET function key (offset / setting key) on the MDI panel.
  • Press ► (right-extension soft key).
  • Press the OPR soft key. The software operator’s panel will be displayed in multiple pages. Scroll through the pages, using the page up / page down keys, to select the page displaying the desired function (Apart from this function, a few more functions would be displayed).
  • Select the desired function by moving the cursor up or down, as needed, using the up / down arrow keys. It can be made ON / OFF using the left / right arrow keys.
