Hi everyone,

First post here, looking for help with a Fanuc MDI command. I put a deposit on a Miyano TSV-34 machine two nights ago but I was unable to get any axis to move via MDI command. I don't have any experience with Fanuc and I watched some youtube videos to get me started. I will be going to see the machine again on Sunday and would appreciate any help in getting me prepared to just run some simple commands.

Steps from the other night:
- home all axis
- all 3 lights turn on for home
- move table to center of machine using the handle
- move z axis down a bit using the handle
- M3 S1000 EOB and press cycle start button
- spindle turns on
- M3 S4000 EOB and press cycle start button
- spindle turns on
- M3 S8000 EOB and press cycle start button
- spindle turns on
- G91 G01 X5 Y5 F5 EOB and press cycle start button
- nothing happened and my feed over rides were at about 20% just to see it start moving and then would turn up

I tried a couple of variations of the above command including G00 but nothing changed. Any suggestions or ideas?

Thanks

Okay will try. Do I have to send any other G setting commands? I realized that I didn't explicitly state G54, does it assume G54 if no co-ordinate system is provided?

Thanks Sinha for the help. I got the machine to move from MDI and I used the floating number input as suggested. Also ran a G54 on my first command to be safe.
