Fasal shifting alarms

I have a Fadal VMC 8030 VHT on the identifying plate but the machine door says Fadal VMC 6030. It has a Fanuc 18i-MB5 system. I can not find good information on this machine or Alarm description any where. The Alarm that started appearing is 1050 INT SHIFT FAIL, CYC STRT INHIBT and Alarm 1055 LOW TO HIGH GEAR SHIFT Failed. A little history of machine, I am not a CNC mechanic but have been given the job to fix this machine since our previous help retired before he could solve these issues. I installed a new shifter assembly to see if that would help. When I order this assembly it came with a 2 wire reed switch in a bag and the assembly came with two 3 wire hall effect switches installed. I called the part distributor and they said they think the 2 wire switch is for the high gear to replace the 3 wire switch that is in the shifting assembly. Since the cable to the switch had a two wire connector I took there word for it. The machine still puts up the same Alarms. At one point I could active the shift valves before powering up machine to get the shifters in the right position and machine would work. But now it will not do anything but put up Alarm 1050 and 1055. If anyone has experience working on this machine or any ideas please post message. I could really use a wiring diagram and a good trouble shooting section for the machine I have but I can not find them any where.
