I had bought some 1/2" extruded acrylic recently at $8.45 for a 6ft piece and remember being surprised how cheap it was. So I was curious about the prices. Cast 1/2" is $9.42/ft.

Looks like 3" bar is $106/ft.

Given Newton's insight on my pricing, I made an update to the original post.

Thanks for the insight. I used ePlastics for a price guide, and knocked it down about 30%. Didn't think there would be any way McMaster would be comparable.
