Kearney & Tracker NMTB50 MT3 adapter. Od taper is good, mt3 taper is excellent. Probably even have a spare drift somewhere. $20

NMTB50 Universal Engineering Co 4050 Kwik-Switch adapter. Has had a hard life, surface staining on od taper and surface rust on id. Nut moves freely though. $20IMG20230928205717.jpgIMG20230928205723.jpgIMG20230928205729.jpgIMG20230928205744.jpg

Mystery PDQ 902 21 144 PMC NMTB50 adapter. Same idea as the Kwik-Switch adapter, but tri lobe instead of two lugs. Odd left hand threads on the nut. Pretty good condition I think, especially the bore. $20

Another mystery, a split 1" bore adapter thing, with 1/4" key way and 2" recess on the back. Looks like some kind of tool holder or adapter but for what I have no idea. $5IMG20230928210757.jpgIMG20230928210806.jpgIMG20230928210828.jpgIMG20230928210840.jpgIMG20230928210935.jpgIMG20230928210946.jpgIMG20230928211307.jpgIMG20230928211326.jpgIMG20230928211337.jpg

Did some more research and found out what my mystery quick change holder is - it's a PDQ/ Marlin Tools M-series master holder, equivalent to 702-21-168. So there you go!

Open to offers :)

I can't edit the original post, but I found out last night that drill adapter is for things with #9 B&S taper (not MT3). Not sure that helps, but at least it's correct now!

bah! I almost sprained my wrist digging it out from under the shelf it's been living under, that's got to count for something. I'll crawl back in my now diminished hole :D

That Ingersoll face mill, I used to have it's little brother, a 4" one. Milled a lot of metal with that face mill on the old worn-out Reed Prentice no. 5 jig mill we used to have at the family homestead. Hauled off shavings by the small trailer load. It went with the old mill when we sold it in 2004.

I also have this not very monstrous taper endmill that uses the same inserts as the face mill. Would work well as an anal reamer, should such a need arise...IMG20230913205748.jpg

Nope, no inserts in stock here (maybe one, no box) I guess I'll have to pass.

Looks like I need to sell some Ingersoll inserts, 10 years and nothing that uses them, time to go.

Is that kwik switch 400 master still available? And is it a spring loaded or non spring loaded style? Thank you

it certainly is :) Not sure what the two styles are, all I can say is that the nut rotates freely between two stops and there's no sign of a spring anywhere. Let me know if you want me to dig further

Fair enough sounds like a standand kwik switch, theres a kwik switch 2 which is the same but with a pin that the tool holder depresses and it lets the nut automatically close. $20 american dollars?
