Gap between x-axis dials and table end bracket after reinstalling lead screw.

Hi all. After reinstalling the x-axis leadscrew on my Webb mill (Bridgeport Taiwanese clone), there is now a considerable gap that is present between both dials and bracket assemblies. Every time I spin the handle counterclockwise the gap opens up as you can see in the video below:


The diagram of the leadscrew assembly is located on page 4-19 here:


I can't pinpoint why this is happening; I even tried installing the left assembly first and then the right as some videos have said.

I am having this exact problem with a 1965 Bridgeport jhead too did you find a fix for it?
