Good shop towels

Where I am at we use variously:

1) Standard single ply brown paper towels out of dispensers at sinks. Garbage.
2) I usually have a personal stash of white t-shirt cut ups. Good for certain part cleaning.
3) Wypall towels. Really nice, more than one variety. Like a thick paper towel but with some body/strength. I use these most times for general "wipe stuff up" tasks.

4) Norwex "window cloth". Microfiber towels (smooth fabric, no nubbies). I use only for surface plate cleaning.

Chinese wash cloths from Family Dollar... 5 bucks for 18 of them...super absorbent and washable in theory (I just throw them away)... or Roll 'O Rags at Sherwin Williams .. especially cheap when on sale.

WypAll X80 in white. I have never had them hold metal chips like cotton or microfibers. If they get wet you can dry them and use them again.
