Hi all,

I have a vise and i don't know where it came frome and was wondering it might be the original vise for my Prema no.4 metal shaper.
It may be from either one of the machines we purchased at one time as well.

It either came from
Prema no.4 shaper
Induma 1s mill
Deckel fp1
Deckel kf2
Or its just a generic one?
Any help identifying it would be greatly appreciated!

I don't know what brand it is but you can see what came with the Prema shapers here
Prema Shapers No. 03 and No. 04 - Sweden
Yours looks more like a milling vise to me than a shaper vise .
If I were to guess I would say it was British made.
Check if for things like bolts or screws with Whitworth or Metric threads or other parts with metric measurements and that may help narrow your search.

Interesting that the Prema page does show the original vise with only two hold down bolts, but the vise in question has a coolant trough rail around it not seen on the shaper vise.

The vise in question is a Hylo mill vise, not a Prema.

Hylo vises are nice. They have a double pitch screw mechanism which allows for rapid jaw transit, but shifts to a finer pitch for more power when placed under clamping load.

Hi there, I have a Prema Type 04 shaper here in UK, do you happen to have the manual?
