Donovan.
That is a mess. Start studying the wires that are marked with tags and disconnect three or four at a time and straighten up as you go. Dont take more wires loose at a time than you can handle.
The wires that have a lot of slack you can raise them and get them out of your way as you straighten things up. I'm sure shortening some up will help.
I'll check a mill that a friend has to see if the schematic is in the electrical cabinet next monday while out there.

I dont know if its running but my first step would be to untangle that mess. with wires have tags you can verify that tags match before disconnecting.
In the process of straitening up you may find loose or bad connections.
The guy that did that does not to touch wiring jobs. Thats pitiful

My friends mill has a horizontal and a vertical head. Different machine than yours.
After taking a better look at your wiring you do need a schematic.
Down in the right lower corner it looks like wires with insulation burnt and loose wires hanging. I hope someone has a schematic to help you.

hi, thanks i located some of the wires and where they go on the left side so the left side is 100% now it's just the DB itself with all the contactors and stuff to decode... as per the drawing you can see I sorted out the left of that beige wire bridge so I know what is going on
