I need help finding documentation or any information about this drill press. In particular, I need wiring guides and general maintenance docs. Thanks

Looks like the brand name is Solid.

Google found one that was sold at auction in Denmark in 2010.

And three drills sold by a machine dealer in Germany, along with several brand new lathes marked Bernardo Solid:

Here is the Bernardo website: https://www.bernardo.at/cms/en/about-us They are in Austria and the machine origin is not stated, but might well be China.

Their drills do not seem to use the Solid name, but they do have Solid lathes: https://www.bernardo.at/en/solid-460-x-1000.html

From that, one could speculate that it was made in Europe, but it may have been made elsewhere and sold in Europe.

Tony does not list a Solid drill. http://www.lathes.co.uk/page21.html

I would start by looking at the motor nameplate to see where it was made.

Did anyone else have the old "Like a rock" Chevy jingle start playing in thier head immediately after seeing that drill press?

Ah, the Bob Seger tune? Ox, where are you?:)

The DP looks like a keeper - keyless chuck (Albrecht?), gearhead with table crank, slightly rusty. Hopefully the variable speed changing mechanism is functional.

Larry's suggestion to start with the motor is best. Can you supply a photo of the motor nameplate? Give us a hint what you'd like to use it for?

These German companies both have English websites, so they likely can respond to an emailed question in English. And you have nothing to lose for trying.

You can likely also talk to them on the phone, perhaps needing the call to be set up in advance.

Solid is a German manufacturer of drilling machines. I have a multi page brochure on Solid I picked up at an EMO show a decade or two ago.

Are you in Europe? please add your location to your sign in What voltage is the motor nameplate. single or three phase.

The wall outlet is standard USA/Canada 120V 15A. The drill has some German labels mixed with some English. There are English stickers and signs around the shop.

Good spotting that outlet. 120 0r 240 single or three phase will be very different wiring.
Of course he may be in a military base somewhere with USA and local power supplied.
