I believe this is a grinder attachment for a surface grinder? I'm unsure what it actually is. It takes small collets. It was sold by Doall. There are no other markings on it. 20230102_215248-min.jpg20230102_215308-min.jpg

Turn your surface grinder into a OD grinder. Originally had a tailstock, and a tilting base option.

Those were sold by DoALL, but I don't know who made them. They take 3C collets. The base is a 5" sine plate which can hinge around either end. Looks like only the tailstock and storage case are missing and the motor is not original. Here are pictures of two of them. They later sold a newer model and I still have that one.

I have a Brown & Sharpe unit that looks very similar, made H.Boggs.
Mine was complete except for a 3/8" collet. The collets were marked oo and I soon found that there are two different sizes marked oo. The ones I bought were for a die grinder, marked oo! Way to small.
After about a year I found a complete accessory kit in new apparently unused condition. Complete with an extra spindle. I have only used it once on my 460 G&L SG.

Here's mine . Made by Henry Owens, I was thinking of Hybco, the maker of my tap/drill sharpener.
