K&T model 2H plain horizontal weight

I have a K&T horizontal 2H ser# 27-3692. I unloaded it with my backhoe which handled it ok. I don't know when it was mfg or how much it weighs.

My serial # book is showing 1942. My 2H vertical comes in just under 4000 lbs so it should be somewhere in that neighborhood.. Some of our more knowledgable members will be able to give a better answer.

2H Plain was 3720 net and 4030 shipping in late thirties catalog.

Does anyone know where you might find a manual for it? Seems to be very little use. Came from Craven college in New Bern N.C.

At least as recent as 2001, you could get them from Giddings & Lewis, but the price is not very reasonable

Parts N Parts and L.L. Richards has the manuals.Probably at $50 bucks a pop.At least that's what I paid for mine from each place.Not bad but not good either.Specify which manual you want when ordering from either.Parts break down,etc.,etc.

P n P wants $100.00 bucks a pop as they just tried to rob me while I was looking for parts for my 2CH. Let me know what manual you need and I can make a copy if I have one
