lathe recommendation needed for micron accuracy

Stay away from Hardinge, the company as a whole is going downhill fast. The last couple machines we've bought from them have been turds. One was a super-precision lathe which has had 10 times more issues in the time we've owned it than the 15-year old version of itself it sits next to that we bought VERY used. We bought a grinder from them that's very sub optimal as well.
