looking for 1/2" mandrel threaded at each end

I'm in search for a 1/2" OD mandrel that is threaded at each end (1/2" - 20).
The only mandrel I'm able to find that is threaded 1/2" - 20 at each end comes in a 5/8 OD shaft, like the one in the picture.
Any suggestion on who might have a 1/2" shaft/mandrel that is also threaded 1/2" - 20?

Do you have a lathe? Turn the center section down to suit.

I don't think any exist that don't have smaller threads - a 1/2" shaft might have 3/8 threads.

And you have no lathe, so ...... I would suggest buying a piece of 1/2" precision shafting and thread it by hand with dies.

You didn't say if you need 1/2-20 Left hand threads at one end.

That McMaster part sounds like a winner. Add a couple of single-split shaft collars and it's a done deal.
