Looking for some 3D models to machine.

Do you guys have any 3D files to share? Plan to use this big boy machine some parts.

Previously I machined this medal for a friend, but not satisfied with it somehow. Hope to have some parts that could apply simultaneous 5-axis.

Cute little machine, and the results don't look bad for a hobby mill. I wouldn't call that a "big boy" around here though . My tiny little Haas CM-1 dwarfs that thing. Just for reference about what people around here are used to, a client and I are looking at getting one of these for his parts:

Looks like a repurposed dental mill, yes? While it's in the size bracket for desktop hobby machines, it's rather in a different class from hobby machines.

How about the Thingiverse library? Most of the "things" have the CAD files to download along with the STLs

Website is lacking for information and didnt see a result for your laser interferometer testing.

Types of motors (Servo or stepper plus brand)
controller
positional accuracy and not theoretical
type of joint for the 5axis
Ball screw or ways
spindle info
Tool changer

This is a crowd that knows machines and what they should be built with. Lack of information of the machine will turn people off from looking at it. Also build a page that isnt facebook.

I don't know where the model is, nor who owns it, but THIS video (and all its copies) went viral. It is true machine pRon.

You could always go with something like this. Use the name of the character in your video title and you will get millions of views. (assuming the video and part quality are there.)
