Hello,

Some of the MH300M’s, including mine, have 1/1-1/100 switch on the control box - described as “normal feed/slow motion”.

Do you know how this was supposed to work? Was it really 1/100 range, where max feed at this setting was 5mm/min?

Thanks!

On my Maho 700P, it's 1 and 1/10.
Speed selector is potentiometer, that goes to analog feedrate input,on servo amplifier.
1/10 is done by voltage divider.

1/10 and dial close to zero, it's pretty slow, too slow for most normal applications.
At a certain point, servo amp also has problems to keep constant slow feed rate, because at such slow speeds, there is hardly any feedback from tacho.
So if machine stalls, servo amp won't compensate for it, because there is no feedback from tacho.
