Mazak Probing

Hello all,
Are you ready for stupid questions? LOL

I have Mazak VCN-530C with Smooth G control.

I just want to probe a point if the point is +/-.005 Alarm.

Probe is T29.

The machine had Set & Inspect on the C drive, so I installed it, but says the Port is wrong (set at 8000) said to change Parameter IOP13 I can not find the parameter anywhere. If some one could give me the code to use as a base I would be very grateful!

Most of the time the port is set to 57400 on the machine, change set and inspect configuration to use that instead and try again.

If you want a tolerance on size it'll be an "H" argument on whatever measuring cycle, "H0.005" for your situation.

That's what happen.
I read through the manual. I just don't know the layout of the program.

this would do a single surface touch at z zero for G54 with the probe with a tolerance of .005 on the height of that surface.

as a side note, if you've only ever used mazatrol to probe previously, ensure the probe is calibrated for use in EIA prior to using it.

calibration data is normally stored starting at the #500 macro variables. if there is no data in those variables check program 9724.eia and make sure the base number is set to #500. if it isn't, the calibration data will be stored starting with the macro variable specified in that program as "BASE No."
