Measuring max temp in oven conveyor

We have a conveyor system that dips a part in varnish and oven cures it around 300ish F. I have a digital monitor to see the oven temp but I want assurance that throughout the process, it's to never exceed 340F on the conveyor hanger (wanting to test high temp RFID tags to merry parts to hanger location but the tags have a max temp rating of 340F).

Is there some sort of device I can attach to the conveyor hanger to tell me what the highest recorded temp was throughout the process? It's a 700 part conveyor that spans up to the roof and back down to the floor so not convenient to get around. Plus, the conveyor speed revolves once per 8hr shift. So far the loggers I found can't handle that high of a temp. Thanks.

Cheap solution: A metal plate with crayon marks at 338 , 344, 350, and 363 deg F.

In the back of my brain I figure there would be a wax based substance that could work and here it is! Thanks!
