Model 9 A

I have a South Bend Bench top lathe Model 9 A. I need new head stock spindle bearings. Does anyone make these or does anyone know where I can acquire a set?

Is yours apart? Does it have shaft on iron casting bearings or bronze inserts.

It would be good to post the model number, serial number and a picture of your lathe.

August '46 catalog 100-F says they are the cast iron of the head stock - yours may be like that or not - depending on when it was made
