Monarch AA - Cross slide removal

Anyone have any idea how to remove the cross slide on a Monarch AA? I have the taper attachment so I can't remove it from the back. I just need the feed handle block removed so I can pull it out the front, but there's no bolts or anything holding it on. I stuck a small wedge (read: screwdriver) between there and tapped it, but it didn't budge so I don't think it's pressed on.

Do you have a parts manual that you can post that page?
One thing that I think I see, is that a taper pin off to the side of centerline? Across from the counterbore.
You might be able to access it from underneath.
