Mystery arbors, go to what?

No idea on Diameter. I belive the atlas hoprizontal mill used mt2 or maybe 3 for the arbor. either 7/8 or one inch for the straight arbor. No idea about shell mill arbors
The drawbar was around 3/8

With the straight shank on the threaded end don't think they ever fited any mill ! Throw them in the misc. iron pile for conversion to something else.

If they are file soft then they can become sacrifice stub chuck-held mandrels. You cut off the piece needed, chuck it, and then turn it to fit the ID of a part needing work. making it a just-fit at the out end and a very slow increase like a mandrel has to becoming a no-go to the part ID.
They are a one-time use for dead zero run-out, and if made to your chuck line-up line they can be used again with having a little run-out.

OP, do you scour auctions for lots that don't sell? Liquidate obsolete businesses?

Have an industrial surplus ePay store? With all the "Wtf is this?" posts, inquiring minds want to know. :)
