I need to put back together a plastic two piece "head" (looks like a shower head)
from a General Project Med Contour beauty salon machine. I'd like to know
what product the brownish/red silicone gasket material is.

Looking at the attached photo, one can see that the substance seems
to have been applied to one half of the plastic head as it is not
sticking to the other half. The purpose of the gasket material is
to ensure oil , which is used as lubricant during use of the machine
is sucked directly into the orifice of the metal piece (pointer on photo)
and suction works only through the hole. The plastic piece with the silicone
is held to the counter-part with the orifice only by two small plastic
screws through the metal piece so, I presume the silicone's
purpose is both as gasket material glue for the two plastic halves.

Does anyone maybe know what product this could be ?

For your information there are 2 types of rtv and both could suit your purpose. Acidic acid cure rtv’s (smells like vinegar) should be treated with caution. Off gassing during cure can corrode metal surfaces.
