Hello, Looking for some information on a Cincinnati No 3 Dial type Horizontal mill. Someone did not have clue when they were adjusting the master clutch and messed with the clutch spring tension.
In the manual it does not give any dimensions or torque specs as to what this was just that it was set at the factory. AS it reads in the manual " Nut A is set by our assemblers to obtain the full capacity of the spring therefore should not be moved within the life of the clutch. Apparently the former owner did not get the memo.
Does anyone have any idea what this tension should be and how to set it up?
Thank you!
