Just acquired this Rivett 608 and brought it home. this Machine was built in 1921. It came with 3 and 4 jaw chucks, collet closer, steady and follower rests, gears for both metric and inch threading. Also came with all of the paperwork since it was purchased including quotes, catalogs and all correspondence associated with machine throughout its lifetime. I’d like to think it was a good find.

I would find a new home for that belt guard...the trash! Beautiful wood drawer stand! Good luck with it, I've owned 4 of them over the years...
Belt guards were installed on the machine to meet osha regs back in the 80s. The machine was locked out not long after that due to other issues that osha didn’t like. Not sure if I will install the belt guards. I still have to reassemble the machine now that I have moved it. I wanted to clean the bench top first.
