You can't trust freedom if it's not in your hand. Most people lack situational awareness, too busy finger banging their phone to realize the world is full of danger, draped in camouflage. Police have no duty to protect the individual, they show up later with clipboards and yellow tape. I wear my protection on my hip, and Ohio is about to get Constitutional carry, so hopefully others will as well.
IMO, it's criminal that the school board voted not to fire that derelict SRO in TX. It would not be surprising if some street justice was meted out someday.
