Has any one seen one of these, and is the utility reduced by the long table?

A few of the R&D Labs, like at Universities have these floating around. Now, most R&D Labs. are replacing that with CNC machines.

Hi Houdina ,

about Deckel FP2 lb...I`ve just been using one for the past couple of days.
Imho utilty is not reduced IF you have the head on it which is shown in the pictures.
(looks like a fast running head to me..?)
If you have the normal one with the quil`s handwheel on the frontside of the machine , you might end up walking round that table all day ... )
In case you have the mony to buy one : make sure you`ve got a big garage to store put it in...the table is about twice the size of a normal one.

Btw : I like this place a lot....cost me the best part of 2 nights when I found it :=)
