Hey everyone, dumb question, but it's been a long while sense manually programming a lathe. Most of my newer manual programming was on mills, or i just cammed it, so my brain is a little scrambled this morning.
So I'm programming a thru hole radially drilled with live tooling. As i recall, if my OD is say 2", center is 0. So if i want to drill a thru hole, wouldn't my x command on G241 be -2. (plus some to clear the drill angle). Or am i thinking of this wrong? I know back to the basics kinda question. TIA
JT
(PS: These parts dont make sense to cam and the available storage is limited hence manually programming the simple parts)
