are there any other options similiar to package size/reliablity/repeatability of the schunk hydraulic/pneumatic vises but at a better price point? my parts are starting from alum 6061 3/8" x 1/2" x 2". current cell i use a jergens 4" hydraulic production vise with air/hyrdaulic pump running at a low air pressure to keep from crushing parts. cycle times are short 3 minutes and running 24x5. i am setting up a 2nd cell and the jergens vises might not fit in the machine (brother r450 with 5 axis tables on each side that id prefer not remove). machine will be here early next week. i might be able to hang the vise partially off the front of tables but clearance could be issue. i have spare jergens vises so the $12k swap to schunk is pricey but may be necessary to also have the 5 axis tables on there.
