The Gorton.....Again. Selecting bearings for spindle.

I repeat myself again.
You can get matched pairs, with preload ground in the faces
of the races, OR you can get single bearings where YOU have
to measure and set the preload by grinding the races or spacers.
Know what you are getting in to.

Doozer, Leave the guy alone!!! He's already confused as it is. Matched pair bearings will work just fine for his need. There's no spacers between the bearings that need fitting in his spindle.

Leave the guy alone ?
He said he can't find the exact bearings.
He came here for help.
If he can't find a matched pair,
I stressed the fact that he has to measure
whatever bearings he can find, and determine
the preload.
Need you read the first post.?.?.?
He came here because he can't find the exact bearings.
Telling someone all the options and what to look out for
is why people come here.
You say he is confused??? That's not nice.
I was not giving him formulations for rocket fuel.
I was saying to measure the bearings he finds
to make sure they will have preload.
Please in detail tell me how I am supposed to
leave the guy alone, and what I am doing to him
that you want me to stop ? ? ? ? ?
I was the first one to offer him some alternative
bearings numbers to look for. What tree are you
barking up and why exactly ?
