I have owned my model VN12 for several years and love the machine. I want to raise it up for easier use and a get better visual. As I get older all the bending affects my lower back. I have read over the years of some that have raised their mills and I am curious as to what you have used to do this and how you like it. Thanks for your input.

Built a heavy duty pallet for mine -easy to move it with a pallet jack.
Suspect the reason they are so low is to make the horizontal mode at a accessible hieght.

I'm 5'6" and my VN #28A puts the arbor right at my eye level in horizontal mode. That means the table top is at about my shoulder height for a lot of jobs. I don't need to put the machine on a riser, I need to build a platform around the machine!

I have mine sitting on rubber levelers, similar to Royal. It's only raised about two inches.
