ATI Performance Products/Racing is looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to create new CNC programs and evaluate existing programs for vertical and horizontal lathes and mills including 4th and 5th axis machines; experience with GibbsCam software preferred.

Many of our machinists and team members have been with the company for 20+ years and, as happens, a treasured contributor is retiring which has allowed this opening to be available.

Type/Schedule
Full-Time, 10-hour DAY SHIFT
Mondays through Thursdays – NO FRIDAYS!
3-DAY WEEKENDS – EVERY WEEKEND!

Requirements
Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models.
Using computer software to model cutting paths and program CNC machines.
Ability to consider tools required to cut materials.
Set up machines for operators as needed and make fixtures for new parts as required.
Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process.
Completing quality control tests during the manufacturing stage and on the final product.
Training new employees on how to properly operate CNC machines and run jobs.
Ability to communicate with Engineering and offer suggestions regarding changes to machine blueprints.
Other tasks as requested by supervisor.

Additional Requirements
5 years of machining experience (preferred).
2 years of CNC programming experience (preferred).
Good communications skills.
Ability to multi-task and work well in a team environment.
Strong mechanical and mathematical skills.

Sounds like a great job, wish I was 30 years younger with a Monster Truck. I have only been in the Baltimore area a few times a decade or so ago the roads were nasty, I doubt they have gotten better.

They have not :cry: but they are always under construction too! By the time they fix one stretch, they're back to the stretch before that. It's never ending... but a Monster Truck might be nice! If you do decide to get one, reach out 😃
