What model K&T dividing head do I have?

You have to flat love the K&T lot number system.
It was a pia to scan every page in that lot book. The reason I scanned it in four sections was to be able to email the files.... Later on, Keith Rucker had the vintage machinery site so I and others could upload info... I have been collecting K&T for many years now and am proud to be able to share with others and when I take my dirt nap, all of it won't go out to the trash... Cheers from hot Louisiana; Ramsay 1:)

Hey guys, just getting around to determining which indexing plates I need, to do what I needed to do with the dividing head.... cut gears.

So correct me if I'm wrong, I need plate No.3, in order to cut a 51 tooth gear?

Its possible to make one with good DRO. :D
And some DROs will plot hole to hole dimensions / coordinates on a circle for you - step by step

Assume 7.000 bolt circle dia

Chordal dimension hole to hole is .4309 (.2155 off C/L)

Circular arc length is .4312

Additional math applied as needed

I have a index plate here that has a row of 51 holes on it. It's marked plate "C". Not positive it is a K & T, I'm 98% sure it is. Experts here can correct me if it is not. The plate is roughly 8" OD x 1-3/4" ID x 5/16" thick.
