What’s the secret of MasterCam popularity? According to Cimdata CAM reports MC takes the first place for a decade and takes about of 30% of all CAM market. Please share your thoughts about it.

Maybe its me but I was never able to get any useful help from solidworks help or tutorials, they never clicked with me. After getting the basics from the Callinan tutorials I was always able to solve any problems with a search for youtube videos.

Being a job shop I have phased out solidworks and mastercam completely for Fusion 360. I only keep those two for legacy work with a few customers.

That's interesting. I am curious about the reasoning. I am a Fusion user, though not highly skilled in the Manufacturing side, mostly just for modeling development. Can you elaborate?
