Working 2B-36 Devlieg

I've lusted after Devlieg angle plates. Haven't manned up to win any at auctions yet.

Why is it that most early HBM's, like 50's and older, don't have built in rotaries and most of the later ones do?

I use the rotary on every job. Bolt something down, dial it in, get to work. Rotary is a huge time saver.

“ Kearns “ were putting revolving top tables on their Hor bores in 1908.

Garwood- I see you're in Oregon. I have FIVE angle plates for 2b-36's. More than I can use. I bought two pairs years ago that were incredibly nice, but i just haven't needed them. I keep two up on my 96 inch Devlieg pretty much all the time, along with an indexer.
