wish i knew as well, I have 5 of these with a whole bunch of spares, and even swapping all over the place between machines it seems like its more in the machine control than the KTI board, I can take a working panel and KTI board and put it in another machine and it wont work still
bump. i now have 5 A2100 machines, some with OSA LCD displays that work great for the touchscreen, some that we converted that work, some that dont. I have swapped parts around (front panels, KTI boards, cables) but nothing seems to fix it. it is a BIOS setting? Is it the bridge board? They all...
Just pulled the grippers actually out of the end of the drawbar, looks like they have a brand Riken on them, but Google is no help there. Guess Ill have to call Kitamura on monday.
edit: took apart the other drawbar that i have from another spindle i bought for this thing, Riken 3-P08587H is...
Hey all. I have an older Mycenter 2, 40 taper. looking for a place to get drawbar fingers. Had a tool clamp solenoid go bad, and it jammed the pull stud up when the fingers were closed and broke one of them. Ive searched for a while and no luck anywhere. Its a 1989 model with a hydraulic...
well, new KTI board, new screen and sensor, and still no touch screen or keyboard working. Starting to think its the board at the machine end. I hate having to use a mouse on this all the time.

I found it, thats a great price. I may just grab it for a spare. Id still like to know what exactly is causing this issue, since it works for a few minutes then stops. Thanks for the info Metalurgent.
Yup, I added about 8-9" to this one, being 6'4" doesnt help. even my bridgeport is on a rolling cart that raises it about that same amount. I did a little restoration on the feed plate last night, as well as tear down the apron.
Apron mostly disassembled after MUCH struggle with the...
