Hello everyone. I just bought a Towmotor LT40 and need to find, make, or fix one of the wheel drive shafts. Does anyone know of a source for one of these? I have attached photos.
I could use some help identifying the collets used in the Brown and Sharpe #11 holder.
Length 3.25"
Head .95"
Base .73"
It uses a locking bar to hold it into the tool holder.
Any ideas? Thank you!
So an update to this post.
I have the mill running. I have found some B&S 11 tooling (end mill and face mill) and have turned a few chips. All I have are 3/4 by 3/4 end mills. The downside is that I cannot find any collet holders. If I want to use other end mill sizes, I would need a new...
Awesome! I was curious how to get the head/quill off/apart. I want to do a little refreshing to the mill. The quill moves good; as do most of the operational surfaces on the machine.
I will keep my eyes open for B&S tooling.
