Guys!
A schaublin 160 was sold on Maarkplats.nl, a well known dutch website a couple of days ago. The seller is Hans Mouthaan, he sold to bakkercncservice.nl, probably another one -man machine services company. Mouthaan has had this lathe for a couple of years, and has done part rebuilding...
Here are some update pics of my 135 project. Almost there! Running quietly and straight, with new bearings and reground ways. Just some minor tweaks left. Advice (and much more) by Rüdiger and Edvind, knobs by Elesa ;)

Guys!
Have any of you dismantled a starwheel tailstock for a Schaublin 135? I have a hard time finding out how to pull the central starwheel axle with the main gear in order to free the quill. The starwheel axle with the large bearing will slide out approx. 12-15mm, but there it stops. I...

I bought a cabinet at an auction containing a pile of threading dies for various dieheads. I have at least 150 sets for 5/16" Coventry, some for 1/4" and 1/2" Coventry, some for Landis and some for Pittler heads. Alltogether at least 250 die sets. Most are various imperial threads, maybe 15%...
I am in the process of restoring a Schaublin 22 mill, and the whole machine is really dirty with a caked mix of sharp chips and solidified coolant residue. The coolant layer is greenish in color, I have a feeling it might be one of those transparent, non- oil based formulas.
The Y-axis bellows...
My Aciera F4 described a while back in the "for sale" section is up for sale again, as the buyer pulled out (without even seeing the machine). The rotary table is taken out of the offer, and the price reduced to 32000 NOK. Pickup in Oslo, Norway.

Someone obviously started to dismantle, searching for an an oil leak...

I have an Aciera F4, and a suitable VFD for the main motor. I also have some vibration from the variator. I think a swap could be made fully reversible, as the variator can be omitted for a longer belt by making a couple of new holes for the motor mount. Now I am wondering:
