Asking advice: WD40 for coolant on CNC mill?

If you use Pam cooking spray it will smell like buttered popcorn while you work

I have a mist sprayer that uses vegetable oil and alcohol if you’re creating enough heat it smells like a stir fry. It’s biodegradable and mostly air, the liquid is metered so sparingly that there is very little residue on the parts. I bought it years ago when I had a knee mill. The thing did work great I have to say.

Maybe I should use a mister with rum and coke. At least that way I will still be happy after I bugger up the job. May not even get to the job. Haas has a little tray on the back that will hold a glass and I can use the wash gun to top up my glass. Happy days
