I'll be picking up my first tumbler soon, a ~2 cubic foot tub style tumbler for deburring aluminum so I'm looking at 1/4" plastic pyramid tumbling media. Prices seem to run quite the range. I noticed Harbor Freight sells some media that looks similar to others but for significantly less cost. I assume it's cheaper for a reason, but I thought I'd ask.. Has anyone tried it and is there any difference between it and the stuff the industrial sellers offer for significantly more?
