Not exactly. The "SL-2" designation indicated a chucker with no tailstock. The same series machine with a tailstock was designated "SL-3". The bed casting was not the same between an SL2 and an SL3. Both were available with 10 or 12 station turrets depending on chuck size. Our SL2 is an 8" chuck machine with a 12 station turret and our SL3 is a 10" chuck machine with a 10 station turret. Hope this helps.
